Imre Vekov: Completed his studies with a Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Technology in Kolozsvár and continued studying abroad in Budapest, Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Master of Science in Computer Science from the Babes-Bolyai University in Kolozsvár, currently MBA candidate at Columbia University in New York. Starting as a software developer in Helsinki, Ukraine, Romania and Tokyo, he progressed to become Japan Deputy manager of the NTT Data Corporation in Tokyo, PMO of AI Center of Excellence Coordinating the various work-streams of the Global AI Center of Excellence and overseeing the structure and governance of a major investment in the field of Data and Intelligence. Led projects for non-profit organizations in Romania, Serbia, Hungary, focusing on experiential learning, and coordinated 50+ people cross-borders initiatives. Enthusiastic organizer and team-leader for events ranging from guitar performances targeting the elderly to Spartan endurance races. Climbed some of the highest peaks of the world carrying banners of nonprofits.
